For Children:

Girl's books authored by Frances Hodgson Burnett and Lucy Maud Montgomery feature Christian themes as does Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol, although both adults and children enjoy reading and listening to this Christmas classic.  George MacDonald, a Christian universalist, who believed that everyone would eventually be saved, was a late 19th-century children's author, whose novels influenced  the writing of C. S. Lewis, J. R. R. Tolkien, and Madeleine L'Engle—all of whose estates still own the copyrights for their works.
